1. Introduction

BeyondEdge Inc. ("BeyondEdge," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website hosted on the Kajabi® platform at https://www.beyondedge.school/ together with associated mobile, desktop, and community spaces (collectively, the "Service"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you share with us. This Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the rights and choices available to you. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all visitors, students, mentors, and other users worldwide. It does not cover third‑party sites, applications, or AI tools that we merely link to or reference.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Personal Identifiers

Name, postal address, e‑mail, telephone number, country, Internet‑Protocol (IP) address, and any display name or avatar you choose for our community.

3.2 Account & Authentication

Kajabi username, hashed password or OAuth token, profile photo, time‑zone, language, enrollment history, date of registration, and last log‑in.

3.3 Payment & Billing

Transaction ID, payment‑method brand (e.g., Visa), last four card digits, billing address, VAT/GST number. We never receive or store full card numbers or CVCs. Payments are processed by Kajabi Payments or Stripe acting as independent controllers/ processors under their own policies.

3.4 Course & Community Activity

Lesson progress, quiz scores, certificates, comments, forum posts, support tickets, survey responses, mentorship bookings, and livestream chat messages.

3.5 Student Projects

Scripts, prompts, datasets, videos, still frames, code, and any other creative assets you upload for feedback or showcasing (collectively, "Projects"). Remove location metadata or personal likenesses you do not want shared before you upload.

3.6 Usage & Device Information

Browser type, operating‑system version, device identifiers, referring URL, pages visited, session duration, error logs, and approximate geolocation at the city/country level.

3.7 Cookies & Similar Technologies

Essential: Keep you signed in, enable secure checkout
Performance / Analytics: Understand how people use the Service
Advertising: Measure & optimise ads on Facebook/Instagram

You can manage non‑essential cookies via our banner or through your browser settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve courses, coaching, and community features;

  • Process transactions and issue certificates;

  • Send service messages (e.g., receipts, reminders);

  • Display personalised course recommendations;

  • Analyse usage with Google Analytics to improve content quality;

  • Deliver and measure ads with the Meta (Facebook) Pixel;

  • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse;

  • Comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal Bases (EU/UK)

  • Contract – fulfil our agreement to deliver the Service;

  • Legitimate Interests – analytics, advertising, security;

  • Consent – marketing emails, non‑essential cookies, featuring your Projects;

  • Legal Obligation – tax and bookkeeping laws.

6. Sharing & International Transfers

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Kajabi may in turn rely on infrastructure subprocessors such as Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare for secure delivery of the platform. Those subprocessors operate under Kajabi’s own DPA.

Transfers outside the EEA/UK are protected by European Commission‑approved Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

  • Course records & certificates – retained while your account is active so you can revisit them.

  • Inactive accounts – deleted after 5 years of no log‑in.

  • Transaction records – kept 7 years for tax/audit.

  • Back‑ups – overwritten on a rolling 35‑day basis.

8. Security

We secure data with TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role‑based access controls, periodic penetration testing, and 24 × 7 monitoring. No system is 100 % secure; use the Service at your own risk.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may:

  • request a copy of your data;

  • correct or delete data;

  • object to or restrict processing;

  • withdraw consent (effective prospectively);

  • opt out of targeted ads (California "Do Not Sell/Share").

Submit requests at [email protected]. We verify your identity and respond within 30 days (45 days for California residents).

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced by email and a banner at least 7 days before they take effect. The "Effective date" above shows the latest revision.
